TODAY was a slow day~ + a LATE day, a lazy day, yet it was an interesting day.
I slept early yesterday~at around 11:30pm or 12~ and I knew I would get enough sleep. Apparently! (not)…
I woke up at…6:50am!!!!!! -But I did not get up, of course! I stayed in bed… awake. … . … . .. after what seemed like a long long time, I fell back asleep and the alarm rang.. 8:25am.. NOOOOOOO…. snoozed.. whatever.. I’ll skip! HA!
Psychology.. again! ….I let it snooze a couple of times.. I hate when the RIIING-ing escalates! because I have it on the LOUDEST sound setting. Finally, I set it to 10Am! ….. UGHHH Can’t do this! . .…
NOON! -WOAH… I have a psychology experiment appointment! That I can’t miss, because I made a promise, an appointment! ~So I get up! Finally! Checked my EMAIL.. and SCOFFED inside. Psychology was canceled… at 9:+am…. ~30 minutes before class started… I WOULD HAVE BEEN PISSED! Thank gosh I didn’t go! POOR SOULS who had to commute! -SLEEP is the PRIZE! <—I kept texting that to Ou last year… LOL!
..Anyway, after feeling like I got something out of this whole thing.. ^^, I got ready to leave to go do the experiment. WATER! HAHHA Still warm~ (but not warm/hot enough…) from my small Costco Thermos… *The water in the BIG thermos.. is still HOT. Drinking it now! ~8pm Thursday!!!!!! -boiled on Wednesday, late morning!**
Anyway, I spotted the Incanto Charms perfume and put some on my neck ;)
Grabbed a banana and the umbrella and left. IT WAS SUNNY! :)
Random! BEST Lasagna I baked! YESTERDAY!
*also! HAHAH I saw Kathy yesterday! She just logged in, so I was reminded! ~ She was so cute, no umbrella, so she had her laptop on her head! (with its casing) and wandering around-ish! :)
-Put on my GLOVES! GLOVES make your hands not cold, which in turn keeps your whole body ~warm!! (/NOT COLD)
I left early, 12:40pm~ so I walked at a very comfortable pace :)
Got there at 12:56pm! HA!
HexaTri Experiment:
^^ Medium Sized/Large
Out of all the HexaTri’s you find the ONE where the BLACK hexagon is on the BOTTOM and see if it’s on the LEFT or RIGHT, pressing a designated button for L or R. ~First round, Practice… Then I did series of Medium sized, Large HexaTri trials. Then a series of significantly smaller HexaTri trials! ^^ The picture above was of the MEDIUM/Large ones! FINALLY, I did a series of FLASHING from LARGE to SMALL HexaTri trials!! -OOOOooooO lol! Although the size changed, which expanded the whole image since bigger ones need more space, the individual hexatris stayed at the same position, so only the BIG-SMALL flash was the distracter. (GOOGLED ‘distractor/distracter’ <— alternative spellings! LOL)
~$10! and I saw Sammie! She works there!! She’s in~ 3/4th year? and is in Cognitive psychology../computer science.. ~~~~ I nudged her during a break in between trials and she said ~you’re back! -and that we could go to class together! @2pm! Sure!
I finished the experiment! ~only took 35minutes! I’m so fast! I was thinking…:O what are we going to talk about while we walk! *LMAO.
I asked if she was going to leave now.. but I kind of guessed that she was still carrying out another experiment to the other participant(s) there. <—The one I did.. SHIVA! when I first met her! ~lol.
I said I was going to go? -get TIM Horton’s! She thought it would take me 40minutes, but I was going to the one by the Forestry area… (Only that one has SOUP!) -She asked about studying together for the exam… and talking about it in class.. -The room was still in busy-mode~ so I agreed and left..!

On the way, I found this patch of grass.. There’s a lot of grass! and took this picture! -trying to MIMIC the one I took the day before yesterday! -but with these boots! -with my BANNER in mind~ … -I like the one that day more though~ -The sun was too bright in this picture and it just doesn’t look as great as that one!
-Continued walking!! OH! I was planning on taking this^ picture on the patch of grass on the street I get onto from my residence… my way to the psychology building….-the same patch of grass I took the first picture… BUT then I heard. OI, or HEY!! From a construction worker standing on a ~semi, (not even) built Building!!! I looked up and he was looking at me! So I didn’t get a chance to take it and continued walking!
-ANYWAY, I finally got to Tim’s. 1:45pm! WOW! HAHAH -NO LINE UP!? Do you know why?! Because class ends :50! and the people from last class had already gotten their lunch and left! -So I happily lined up.. OKAY, there was STILL a LINE.. but that DOES NOT COUNT AS A LINE since it was not even half as long as it is usually when I actually consider it LONG!
-~:55pm! YES! -Bought Cream of Broccoli! -Only took ~10minutes? I check to see if they gave me butter and a knife THIS TIME! unlike last time… when I met Vivian and had the TOMATO soup.. YUP!
So I grab it… hold onto the jacket I had taken off because it was so hot~, cellphone, umbrella, bag…. -walked through the building to get to the other side.
CROSSING the road to my class in the Computer Science building! (Very close by! :)
As I was crossing, I noticed this guy in a grey hoodie also crossing the road.. Fair enough.. I continue crossing and the guy just heads straight in my direction, my path.. not bothering to move.. okay… We were crossing diagonally… (HYPOTNEUSE.. -closest path.. straight to my building #LOL)
and he was adjusting his hoodie, I couldn’t see his face.. and SUDDENLY, he leapt a little, lunged in my direction and then took off his hoodie?! (~not entirely sure… very confused!)
I screamed.. or EEEEKED to be specific! …. HE SCARED ME!!!!
After I briefly collected myself, I called out.. ‘JAAAAAMES…….. you idiot!”
Like imagine this hoodied-stranger, a guy.. just walking up to you and then sort of JOLT at you!

In class! Ate my yummy CREAM OF BROCCOLI soup, and bun, and BANANA I had brought! -didn’t spot Sammie, but sat beside a girl in my lab~ discussed DFA? stuff. TAKEN, ~TAKEN, Prediction… MIDTERM MONDAY. SCARED!
We also did a (FAMILY,) BINARY TREE ACTIVITY at the end of class! It was fun! (This reminded me of the Class Activity we did/observed in this class at the beginning of the school year.. SEPTEMBER… -Volunteers went up and with a math MODEL, were able to rearrange themselves in BIRTHDAY order.)
…The professor asked for a volunteer. and ANGELO volunteered. He would become the parent of two children, who were two other students in the class, who would then become parents of two children..who were two different other students in the class and were parents to … . so on! :) HA! I became the child of this guy after the ~3rd round… I chose the two girls sitting beside me… and so on…
In the end, we found out it took ~11 generations to get to each student in the class! pretty cool~ and it turns out that 11 = ~the square root of the amount of students in the class?! …
Math class~ (class ended 4 minutes early! but I went to the washroom… so I started walking at 3:21pm!
Late by a 3~minutes, as usual and sat at the farthest back row where there are the LONG comfortable tables! (not the self pull out wooden ones on the side of the chair..) I was bored.~ HOW CAN I FOLLOW ALONG?! UGH…

*the left side of my nose, where my glasses sits… is RED and hurts :( I think it got slightly irritated!! -since yesterday too!*
-so I started texting Jenny random stuff! and She told me what’s going on over there, with Christmas break and etc…
Initially, the guy (Filipino? South Asian?) sitting beside me was awake! and sort of taking notes.. but after~ not 15 minutes of my arrival.. he started SNOOZING! LOL! The professor passed around a handout and I just quietly took one for myself and one for him and placed it on his side.. He slept for the whole time~~~ This class is 1.5 hours man!! =///
During class, I was thinking… IF I WERE A PROFESSOR, AND I SAW A STUDENT SLEEPING, or CLEARLY NOT PAYING ATTENTION, TEXTING etc.. I WOULD PINPOINT THEM and ASK THEM TO PAY ATTENTION or PLEASE LEAVE! -THAT WOULD SHOW THEM! THAT WOULD ACTUALLY MOTIVATE!!! (~lol, but obviously, I hoped that she wouldn’t do that to me!)
… In the end, I decided to just leave 9 minutes early… since .. WHAT AM I DOING?! wasting even THIS TIME?! -I left and went to the little cafe shop just in the building! -Scooped out some gummy worms, lined up and bought a little bag ~$3!

*ONE HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY! vv
..Then I saw the ~cute Caucasian guy in my math class who was sitting at the table separated by a walking isle from ours. Class had ended! He smiled at me and I smiled back.
——(okay, so…)-Before!
When I got to Math class late, he saw me come in. He smiled and we sort of acknowledged each other~ I sat in the back row too, with the sleeping guy~ so this guy was on the other side of the isle, on the last seat. During class, I was just off somewhere, doodling and texting Ou. I did take ~some notes: Lagrange’s Multiplier! I’d randomly notice him. -Taking out stuff, gum, offering it to the girl beside him.. We made eye contact a couple times. - … Class dragged on… and then suddenly, he was directly looking at me from across, so I turned and found out he was trying to get my attention, needing to plug his computer in… *I thought:.. there’s only like ~half an hour left?!* -I plugged the cord into the socket behind me. . …
…I left early, as I said…. GUMMY worms… and then [now],I saw him again! Class had ended.
We (greeted?) and started walking. His name is Mic. My name is L and we shook hands. This is totally not going to be in perfect chronological order, but I think he then said -are you usually in this class? (implying that I skip.) and so I replied yeah! -but I never/haven’t see(n) you. ~no, I’ve .. I always come to class… -oh, you probably sit in the front…
We had just left the building and as we got out from the undercover area of the building, he asked, quite coolly and calmly but maybe he was nervous, ”Wanna go get a coffee?” (~or something along the lines), asking me out! which stunned me! I haven’t ever been asked out so directly before (in person!)
- (hmm.. ~laughoutloud! thinking about this LAME person: OVER FACEBOOK: he asked something like ‘are you single? -me too.. .. that’s cool, do you know what’s cooler? (~something implying) not being single… Wanna go out/be my gf… -no (I said, settling it) … . .. him: -…I was joking… [WOW! If I had said yes, you’d probably have invited me to a change in status right then~] I think I confided in a couple friends, and then they agreed with him~: oh it was probably a joke~.. *are you kidding me? It was so not! -He’s like known as the BIGGEST desperate guy out there) Sometimes, we all have inaccurate judgements… but usually what I feel is what I believe is really true? and how would you know if you aren’t me?.. With these situations, I feel less inclined to share what happened or what I believe/feel because it just seems like people just don’t understand/agree~ or maybe it’s just me. or maybe it’s the subject. I actually feel like it’s a touchy subject, only because it’s ‘kind of like’ showing-off: OHH! this person likes me!!!! ..But: I’ve only had a couple of guys confess to me and I am (thankfully) not the kind of girl who thinks that every guy that talks to me, or is nice to me, likes me!
-While we’re on this topic, the only other time I can remember someone else ‘asking me out’ was during an ‘msn’ conversation! with a saxophone guy! He was an awkward tall kid in two of my classes at the time? -he got my msn somehow and talked to me… he asked me ‘what movies do you like’ -AND WOW, <— looking at that question, doesn’t it seem obvious? BUT that’s totally HINDSIGHT BIAS! -totally! -Anyway, I answered enthusiastically, action, comedy, romantic comedy? etc.. etc.. an I forget.. but then he said something with an implication and stopped talking… so I filled in the gap? and guessed.. -oh do you want to go watch a movie together? At this point, my sister was watching and completely fell over laughing when he answered with the ‘shy, embarrassed, rosy-cheeks msn emoticon’ ~ that’s really all I remember about it. …BACK TO THE STORY:-..and we had just met! ~literally! -noticing him in class didn’t count! I was nervous and stuttered, saying “ohh no~, I have to study for a a.. computer science. midterm’ .. in which he replied with -Oh, I’m in computer science!
-So then we started talking… he asked about my classes, I listed all 5, he’s only taking 3! He told me he’s in 3rd year~wow! He said he wasn’t ambitious (since he was only taking 3 courses -.-) and then he asked me where I will go study? -in residence! -Oh you live on campus? -He asked me how life at residence is, my roommates.. .etc… I just answered like honestly…and HONESTLY, there isn’t really anything going on at residence -.-… I told him it’s a townhouse style residence.. then he asked where I lived before? I told him, and then more specifically when he asked and I asked where he lives -Richd! -moved back into his house recently, -his sister… -usually no ones there.. -then he asked -what are you going to do this weekend? -going home~ Lol! -I loved how unavailable I was. - Somehow we transitioned to talking about family… and his grandma!!! -We are both close to her~ and he said he was her favorite (out of only two grandchildren…) and how that’s a responsibility/pressure.. -His family is actually from the place one of my roommate’s is from~~~ 5 hours/6 hours from HERE! …
We walked to the bus loop and we seemed to take different paths and I told him I usually went that way, so we ended up going that way… and he assumed I lived in that residence by the bus loop, so I said I just took the bus because I’m lazy… when he mentioned -yeah might as well, got the pass*…
-It was completely uninhibited.. I don’t know if I scared him, but I eeeked: “shhiiiit! I forgot to get my pass, I need to go to the bookstore” ..There was a momentary pause, (at first I thought he might want to come with.) and then I said -okay cyaa~ and he said a bye~ and then we departed!
I walked to the bookstore, and then started texting what happened to Ou/Tina.
I retrieved my 11thMonth’s pass and walked back to the bus loop. -Continued eating my gummy worms.
-Bused and got home!
