I convinced Charlie to go on this ride, saying he could go with Jenny.
-On the ride, I was scared -of the height- so I didn’t film below. I was by myself. *thought: SHOULD NOT HAVE LENT JENNY! :P* The camera was mainly on my lap facing forward… going round and round and round. CHARLIE AND JENNY IN FRONT OF ME! =) -HAHA! Charlie was so scared; Jenny told me he had his eyes closed the whole time! You can see him holding on to the swing tightly the whole time. HEHE. Jenny got him to open one eye for a sec. There’s me at the end!!

~11:30am: MAGNOLIA JEWELRY called! I was still in bed with sister~ :( I failed again at phone call-~interview.. -it went okay-ish smoothly in the beginning….. although the ‘past retail experience’ part sucked.. *Mentioned INC.. WHY?!!!! LOL That’ll work against me!* …She asked if I knew where they were located and I said ~BigMall *yes!*… but then she asked ‘do you know what we specialize in?’ - (same as the JWresearch interview with the woman!! ‘~do you know what we do?’) I said ‘no’ *lamely…* and I KNEW immediately that I had lost it because she went ‘~okay.. I’ll pass you~ on to the hiring manager…’ (& they’ll call if interested or something…’ …..INSTEAD of explaining what they specialize in….. … … I SHOULD do research on where I apply! -losing good opportunities!!! -MAGNOLIA JEWELRY SPECIALIZES IN SILVER handmade JEWELRY! -After dinner: Walked with Tina! -It was warm and nice outside!!! Wore shorts! & Sis’s blue shirt… YAY *same as before*! You know how really happy celebrities/youtubers/athletes…. always inspire us saying something like ‘DREAMS DO COME TRUE’ …
-when all my dreams come true, I’ll be like ‘OHMYGOSHHH DREAMS DO COME TRUE.. BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! X1000’
I woke up at ~7:15AM! Can you believe it?! -I barely can! LOL -last day with BRACE-FACE!!! FOUR YEARS! -Breakfast: toast with NUTELLA *opened a new jar after spreading MY piece with the old jar’s leftovers, & spread the other two pieces: mom and dad’s~* -Haha; anyway, last couple days = dispute-y with mom… but I still think I’m right.. obviously~ or I’d feel more apologetic. *and over . too! WTF!*
-So I ate that and then FRUITS: Pieces of Pear and Oranges~ *only 1/4 of a pear leftover*
DAD’S 3rd DAUGHTER DREAM! A really cute adorable baby~ I’m like: ‘Even in your dreams, Dad, you don’t have a son. HEHE
-had to prepare to leave the house before 8am!! - Got dressed/ready/-teeth-BRUSHED-CLEAN-CLEAN! and we left at 7:55~
GETTING MY BRACES OFF! TEEEHHEHE :) Appointment = 9AM! -at their downtown location~ *First time going there since I transferred orthodontists… BUT ~2nd+ time going there in TOTAL since he’s actually the FIRST ORTHODONTIST we went and got consultation at ~ when I was in grade 6~/7 *<a VERY disputed topic avec ma mere aussi! on the DATE-lol** -So, I had some recognition of the place.
TRAFFIC. Oh em gee. ahhaah raining too! … It (traffic) wasn’t THAT bad.. but.. … Eventually we got there. -parking? another problem. FINE… -went into their underground parking lot in the end! *Before going up the stairs and then the elevator to the 10th floor, I took out the elastics I was secretly wearing…. in which I wanted to wear for as long as possible; I feel like they worked!!! *secretly scared he would notice and call me out~ Even though…. it would be completely pointless to do so..* 9:15+AM!!! -had to go pee; took their keys ~lady: ‘okay. ~go fast; you’re already late 15minutes~’….
Afterwards, ~20minutes LATE. -Got into the chair… and this cute short chubby lady ortho. assistant with curly hair and bright eye-lined eyes… -looked Spanish?… had a slight accent showed me to my chair and I asked to take off the ONLY elastic I was asked to wear *lower left problem molar to the last two top teeth forming a triangle* and soon she was looking at my teeth…. & she asked, ~Are you happy with everything. and of course, I’m not 100% happy.. FAR from it.. but I feel like I’m satisfied with the ‘adequacy!’ :) *YES!! Best way of describing it! :)* So … I said ~ya, I guess~ She told me kindly that now’s the time to say… or else it would be too late once they are off…. and I’m like ~… uh noo.. it’s okay.. /good… -She looked at my bite and my ‘LEFT’ *problem* side.. and I sort of explained the situation. She was probably like ~oooh.. hmm…looks weird…~… and she said she’d get the Dr. to look. **p.s. The people working at this ‘clinic? are different from his other office.. obviously* **PANIC-ish… waiting for Dr. to come look at my teeth* -He took a VERY BRIEF LOOK *without telling me to bite-down ;) or anything! LOL.. & saying *to her* ~yup.. very familiar with this patient… ~ and then he was gone… and I WAS GETTING MY BRACES OFF!!!! WOAH!! HEHE! The lady came back and the bracket-extraction began. and OUCH. It was quiet FORCEFUL? but quick!!! Soon they were all off, even the BANDS on my back molars… and there was this slight taste in my mouth that was gone really quickly… before I even really had a chance to feel *lick* my teeth and feel the glue on the top incisors…*I guess I was slightly hesitant to lick around..* …. since the good-ol’ Doctor was brought back.. and the REMOVAL OF THE GLUE STARTED!
He went about it in SUPER SPEED. HONESTLY. I closed my eyes for like 90-95% of the procedure since it was just a lot of water spritzing and very BRIGHT light if his head wasn’t covering it. -I didn’t mind; BUT he could’ve gone about it more patiently?/in-a-more-civil-manner? I really felt like he was just hurrying through the whole thing *even IF he was doing a decent job* scrapping, rinsing with the water spewing…. down my right neck a couple of times. I’m TICKLISH DOCTOR! and… in the beginning, he was telling the assistant.. *or me?~* that I’m a ‘transfer patient’ *so my RESULTING teeth isn’t really associated with him LOL* & that he never uses ‘BANDS’ on the molars..*which he’s mentioned before during an appointment some long while ago :P* . - only brackets.. so he can place them all closer to the gums **mine were closer to the ends of the teeth* & it’s true.. My sister’s were closer to the gum~* …. More scrapping with the electrical dental device and water and suction…. and he got to like my back teeth.. and his hands/fingers needed to rest near my chin-ish area.. and I held it in.. but I did give in one little time ‘cuz it was TICKLISH~ *stopped* ~are you okay?’ *-yup … DONE! -He very casually explained Ta-Da.. while handing me a mirror. DUN DUN DUN! OH MY GOSH! I saw my teeth. AND WOW. -First impression: - WOW!woah :) looks better than I thought they would! *also+ not as yellow as I thought* + woah.. TEETH look/appear bigger. +clean and smooth~! +tiny blood on top left incisor’s gap~…. The Doctor also said ~you have nice teeth. A short moment later, the lady started polishing my teeth! *just like when you go to dentist for regular cleaning* It was the green minty flavor. -Now my teeth felt quite-very clean and fresh/polished.

-IMPRESSIONS for HAWLEY RETAINERS *read that they are considered the best *like sister told me~* because the teeth touch when closed so they settle into the best position~*! -switched to a side room with one chair and I couldn’t help looking at my teeth with the mirror! -would notice.. that (unfortunately), my bottom jaw/teeth did look *a little~/somewhat* sunk inwards.. =/ -tried smiling.. HEHE. The lady made the purplish-pink mix to put in teeth trays~ for my upper and bottom teeth impressions. Did the bottom first; then the top~ Done! The lady showed me where I needed to go for my X-rays booked at 10am. -just across the street.
X-RAYS. . but. DUN DUN DUN. WHERE’S DAD! It was 9:55am. OH MYGOSH. SO PISSED! LOL He disappeared. not in the waiting room.. the impatient reception lady was of no help -of course she wasn’t paying attention to my dad; she had told him it would take ~45minutes to and hour *I would later find out..* .. So anyway, I looked down the hall… back in waiting room.. She told me to sit.. -I decided to call home…. wondering idly if he had gone HOME?! NO WAY.. -grandma didn’t pick up.. called Mom.. ….*reception lady called x-ray saying I’m done but waiting for dad. FACEPALM* …. FINALLY, at 10:06am… he came back in with coffee in hand… just like the reception lady predicted lol…. OH MY GOSH DAD!!!!! WHERE WERE YOU! BUTT PINCHLol…. -LATE again!
-Walked to the x-ray building… 5th floor. -filled in this small form.. -sat and waited. ‘TEETH FEEL SO SMOOTH DAD!!’.. ~oh my gosh wow…~ -Still marveling in the weird/brace-free/very-smooth feel. -asked to brush already clean teeth *since doing the mold may have made it dirty, said the receptionist… Okay. Brushed teeth in cute back area~!* -Called in.. X-ray! Those full head 360Degree ones…. Standing.. slightly tilting backwards.. gripping onto two handles… biting down onto this bent plastic stick with a dent in it for your teeth… -Finally, she got me in good position… and I closed my eyes.. and the 16 second X-RAY-ing began…. beep/whirring-sound. *ohmygosh; I’m proud of my verbs/description! LOL*
-She checked if it’s good. and yup. and I asked to see it and WOW it looked amazing! *like the previous x-rays I’ve had during my whole ortho. process*… but I haven’t seen one in a while.. it’s just so cool.. like PANORAMIC! -All the teeth and their roots and parts of the jaw bones…. So I asked for a copy. For souvenir-keeping.. Printing would cost; but she said she could email it to me. AWESOME.
-NEXT = 8 shots! PICTURES of MY FACE and TEETH. -Smiling; smiling broadly/laughing; neutral; profile; left teeth; right teeth; top teeth; bottom teeth. *HOLY MOLY; I REMEMBER!* -Glasses were taken off.. and the ‘smiling broadly’ was a hard one~! *a hard natural big smile* -I wonder how bad I look in these pictures! XD -I asked if I could get those too! And she said yes~ the layout would take some time….
-Front office; -reception lady on phone… -the x-ray/photos-lady got me a piece of paper and I wrote down x-ray/layout pictures and my email address @live.ca. YAY!
-Sat down with dad again. -waited.. waited….. -photos CHECK; good to go… waited… later x-ray lady came out and told us we could go~! But dad’s like… the RECEIPT! The reception lady was still on phone? and… in the end the nice x-ray lady helped us.. and we were finally free to go!
- Jumped onto Dad’s back!
-THE PARKING FEE = $11.50~ at the END!!!!
-Went to Congee/Noodle Restaurant! -Fish Congee + Beef Tendon/Beef-nan Noodles.
FIRST MEAL BRACE-FREE!!!
-Stayed until 12:05pm~!
-Went to MALL. ……

-after all that fun and LONG WAIT in the mall~ *Apple employees kindly asked if we needed help, but saying it was perfectly find if we stayed* :) …. -drove back to ORTHODONTIST PLACE~ 3pm+
-for my 3:30pm RETAINER PICKUP appointment!
-*parked elsewhere this time; short walk back in the clinic; doctor ( =O ) appeared with mold of my teeth and explained that top far left tooth~ super-erupt? (I noticed it was tilting outwards/crooked~ -just lately!) and the bottom ‘trouble’ tooth is still there~ -if there are problems with the left side, just pull it. (Even though this whole process/extra time spent with braces was for that tooth!!) -said in hindsight that I should’ve kept my ‘premolars.’ …..
Anyway, it’s okay~ I was fine with it.. *BUT IN HINDSIGHT: I should’ve just stayed with my ORIGINIAL ORTHODONTIST! FML! Then: I could’ve had AT LEAST gotten the LEFT side of my teeth sorted out -with proper bite…. -
Inside, the same cute lady with curly hair let me try on my new retainers! *Sister told me how no-braces = WEIRD feeling; and the retainers will STINK* and < both of those happened! It stank! But I guess I was prepared! -Doctor checked. Clicked the top on more properly. -OH! So it does rest onto the roof of the mouth perfectly! -At first it felt uncomfortable, with a big gap in between…. DONE!!! -Doctor congratulated me on being brace-free and we shook hands! *wear 24/7; next appointment in two months~*

…. SISTER’S COMMENCEMENT!!! GRADE 12 GRADUATION!
6:30pm START. -got ready~
-sat at the top, the balcony! *where my parents sat when I GRADUATED 2010!*
-Intro: bagpipes; sang O’Canada:) … intro: principal/vice.P. .. awards…. Cheered for the peeps! Know quite a few of my sister’s classmate… and saw some of my own classmates there!
-Long ceremony~! -Went down the alphabet… a b c …. took a long while to get to my sister who was in the very beginning of the second half. L! -KeH(tall)LOL was there! sat behind us and he had a very loud shout, cheering for people he knows, which amused my mom and grandma. He left 2nd half… *mom even wanted to ask him to give my sister a shout!*
-and I deeply contemplated giving a shout to my sister! … and finally, I RESOLVED TO DO IT! HEHEHEHE! I was going to do ‘mei mei’!
HIGHLIGHT (One of :) ) OF THE DAY… Finally, my sister was up! She walked onto the stage and there was a brief pause since the last graduate was still doing his thing; my sister gave a cute wave… and Finally, she gave him her name’s sticker and Mr. M. called JL and I seized the brief moment/pause and shouted with all my might with my hands cupped around my hands a bit, “MEI MEI”! HAHAHAAHHA She looked my way! and I thought she heard and COULDN’T WAIT TO ASK HER! HEHEHHEEHEH! -She got a Safeway rotary $500 scholarship from the high-school. :)

-an amazing cute guy SeanP got a big roar/cheer! -Really popular and kind to everyone~ -got big trophy!
-Two hockey teammate boys were the Valedictorian~ -The ceremony ended with fireworks!

Afterwards, it was hectic! Could not find my sister!!! -FINALLY, FINALLY after seeing EVERYONE, we found her! She got balloons!
-and the MARVELOUS day ended with Kimchi Noodles~!
